Vodice – a famous tourist centre which forms the starting point for trips into three national parks – the Kornati archipelago, the waterfalls on the Krka River and the Paklenica natural canyon. Another popular destination for trips is Šibenik (15 km) – the dome of the Renaissance Cathedral of St. James. Although hugely popular with tourists, Vodice has a remained a quiet summer resort offering a wide range of boat trips and pleasant walks along the coastal promenades, made even more holiday-like by the hundreds of boats and yachts in the local marina. The location of the camp is ideal for those who love the bustle of the town or for those who prefer the beauty of nature or historical monuments.
